The old combi on Marchmont Street was over 18 years old and the flue came out right beside an opening window. That wouldn't pass the regulations for a new install. Kevin fitted a Viessmann Vitodens 100 in the same cupboard and used a plume management kit to take the flue gases up and away from the window. Space was tight with the kitchen units around the cupboard, so the pipework underneath was reworked to line up with the new boiler's connections. He fitted a magnetic filter on the return and filled the system with inhibitor. The customer was shown how to top up the pressure using the filling loop.
