The combi would heat the radiators, but the hot water kept going lukewarm and then scalding. Josh read the boiler's fault history and saw repeated sensor errors. He tested the flow NTC thermistor on the pipe and the resistance did not match the temperature chart, so the board was getting false readings. A new sensor with fresh heat paste sorted it. He also cleaned the cold inlet filter, which had grit in it. Hot water on Belmont Road is steady again.
